Welcome to the Canvas Olympic Handbook 2023! This document should teach you everything you need to know about this event.

The games are set to take place over nine days, from Saturday 14th January to Sunday 22nd January. There will be an opening ceremony, eight sporting events and one artistic event and everyone is welcome to join in. You’ll have the chance to win huge prizes and eternal glory.

Events

The following is a brief explanation of the planned events. Please note dates are subject to change. Starting times for each event will be announced on the day.

Opening Ceremony — Friday 13th January

Pay a visit to the Olympic Stadium to view a special animation, enjoy a drop party, and meet the Olympic mascot, Bob the Blob!

Most events will take place at the Olympic Stadium

Artistic event: Painting (Friday 13th January — Sunday 23rd January)

Competitors can submit original, in-game paintings. A Discord vote will determine the medallists

Prizes:

1st: 20k

2nd: 10k

3rd: 5k

Sport 1: Combat (West Kingstown Arena) (14th January — 22nd January)

The combat tournament will take place at West Kingstown Arena

A 1 vs 1 knock-out tournament. No health potions allowed. All are welcome but must sign up in advance. Ties will be decided by the committee, and matches must organised between participants within a certain timeframe.

Prizes:

1st: 50k, mitre of experience, full diamond set, hell boots

2nd: 25k, full gold set, spider boots

3rd: 12.5k, full silver set

Sport 2: Track Race (Saturday 14th January)

A 15 lap mount race around the Olympic Stadium track.

Prizes:

1st: 18k, blur boots

2nd: 8k

3rd: 5k

Sport 3: Archery (Olympic Stadium) (Saturday 14th January)

Competitors will participate separately. Standing on a specially built range, they will aim to hit moving targets at three different speeds. Points will be awarded depending on targets hit. Medals are awarded based on points earned.

Prizes:

1st: 15k, beetle bow, diamond arrows

2nd: 7k, beetle bow, gold arrows

3rd: 4k: beetle bow, silver arrows

Sport 4: Multi Track Race (Olympic Stadium and Gnomeway) (Sunday 15th January)

Competitors will race between the Olympic Stadium and the Gnomeway for the Open Race event

A 3 lap mount race around and between both stadiums.

Prizes:

1st: 25k, blur boots

2nd: 15k

3rd: 5k

Sport 5: Herding (Olympic Stadium) (Sunday 15th January)

Competitors will aim to bring as many animals as possible to enclosures at the stadium within a time limit.

Prizes:

1st: 10k, Nightmare

2nd: 5k, Wolf

3rd: 3k, Snow Leopard

Sport 6: Maze Solving (Wednesday 19th January)

Competitors race to solve a maze. Venue to be confirmed.

Prizes:

1st: 10k, teleporters, treasure map

2nd: 5k

3rd: 3k

Sport 7: Dodge Tomato (Olympic Stadium) (Friday 20th January)

Competitors will try to hit each other with tomatoes without leaving the stadium area. Last one to avoid being hit is the winner. Any disputes to be resolved with screenshot evidence.

Prizes:

1st: 8k, Watering can

2nd: 4k, scythe

3rd: 2k, 1,000 tomatoes

Sport 8: Manhunt (Saturday 22nd January)

Competitors must hunt down two murderers, each equipped with armour, weapons, boots and cash. Whoever kills the murderers first earn the medals and can keep the loot.

Prizes:

1st: 15k, full diamond set, speed boots

2nd: 10k, full gold set, spider boots
